Viola in love…

Viola is still looking for her father with the help of Francesco. There is a great attraction between them, but the handsome Inspector, who had a difficult childhood, doesn’t believe in love.

Episode 3 of Viola Come Il Mare starts with Viola arriving in her newly rented bright red cabriolet to her local hospital for a check-up with her doctor. She is undergoing tomography examination for the doctor. Her condition is presently stable. When Viola arrives home from hospital, she finds relaxing Demir swinging in the swing seat. Demir tells Viola that he started to look for information about her father. In the middle of the conversation, he receives phone call and agrees a dinner date with someone. In mean time crime takes place in local hair salon.
Next day, at work, Viola and Tamara are discussing information about a bar where Viola’s mother used to go 30 years ago. Later, she and Tamara goes to the crime scene at the hair salon.
Following an initial investigation Demir calls into a police station an employee of the hair salon who has reported the crime. The woman reveals interesting information to Demir. When Viols returns from crime scene to the office she presents her findings to Claudia, but Claudia is upset because Viola has no suspect yet in mind. Viola decides to go with Tamara to home address of the victim where she finds new facts. Next Tamara and Viola go to a local bar where Viola’s mother used to go 30 years ago with hope that Viola gets to speak to the owner. When there, Viola witnesses an argument of the current owner with some man, she is frightened and runs away.
In mean time, at the police station, Turi provides added information to Demir which concerns the murder victim which leads to a new person being question over the crime. Next Viola and Tamara arrive at the address they obtained during their own investigation, and it turns out to be the victim’s mother’s house. There the pair finds that the victim had 10 years old daughter. In the afternoon Demir is discussing the murder case with Santo, but suddenly Turi comes in to inform them that Demir has a visitor who turns out to be Viola. The encounter between Viola and Demir eventually lead to revelation of a fact that the victim was in past a prostitute.
In the evening when Viola arrives home, she bumps into Demir again on terrace who is cooking dinner and invites Viola who agrees. Viola and Demir discuss the crime over dinner, but the end of the dinner is filled with tension and attraction between the two. Next day Tamara and Viola go again to visit the victim’s mother who confirms to her the fact that her daughter was prostitute and tells her that some woman with blond hair shown her recently photos of her daughter with a man who used to be her pimp. After this Viola and Tamara go back to the office so Viola can draft article. Here suddenly appear a new face on the scene, Domenico. Domenico is an international journalist and Claudia’s friend. At the police station, Demir interrogates the victim’s ex pimp who however confirms that when he arrived at the salon the victim was already dead.
In the evening Viola and Demir meet by chance outside their apartment building. After the encounter which turns out to be funny, they come to Demir’s apartment and further discuss the crime. Viola tells Demir about the blond woman victim’s mother spoken of and Demir with his instinct looks up employee’s page of the salon and identifies the woman as the person who originally reported the crime. Demir interrogates the woman again, and she eventually confesses the crime and explains what and why she did it.
Next day Viola drafts the article.
When Viola arrives back at home, she overhears Demir talking to someone who he has over for a dinner. She gets agitated, thinking it is a woman and barges in with an attitude only to discover the person over for dinner is Santo. The three have a conversation over drink. Demir reveals that Santo saved him from the streets.
After Santo leaves Demir and Viola move onto terrace to have further much more private conversation. It is in this moment Demir explains why he does not want to commit to women. He explains the tragic relationship of his parents and what it caused in his life. Viola on the other side explains to him that she is looking for love.

Episode 4 of Viola Come Il Mare starts with a scene of an unknown woman trying to escape from a room in a flat where she has been locked up by someone.
Next the episode moves onto a terrace where Viola in the morning is building a wooden separation fence to split her side of the terrace from Demir’s. The hammering of Viola wakes Demir up and he goes to confront Viola.
Next Viola drives in her cabriolet to the location of the warehouse given to her by Demir but her satnav fails, and she almost runs over a young man on a bike. When Viola arrives at the location, she is looking for she finds the young man who she almost run over. He is a son of the owner of the farm, and he manages it, his name is Raniero Samartano. Viola tells Raniero why she is at the farm. Raniero flirts with her and is very forward and puts his number into her phone and takes her number so he can call her. He tells he is 25. Next the episode moves onto a crime scene where Turi and Demir are observing a body of a woman who is dead on the floor at the bottom of the block of flats. It is the woman who we saw right at the start of the episode. Turi and Demir are discussing the crime scene while Viola arrives. They are discussing what might have happened at the scene. Demir and Turin leave to go the actual flat where the woman lived but do not allow Viola in, but Viola finds a way to get upstairs. Viola is hiding and spying from behind a door on a conversation between Demir, Turi and the victim’s husband but her clumsiness gets her discovered. Demir pulls Viola out on the street and has argument with her. Viola tells Demir what she has found out about the woman from her own investigation. After this Viola goes to the office. Her and Tamara discuss what they found together and decide to further investigate and go to speak to several people. Later, when both Tamara and Viola arrive back at the office, also Raniero arrives bringing Viola’s car and invites her again for dinner. Viola tells Tamara about Raniero. Tamara tells Viola that Raniero wants to take her to bed, but Viola is agitated and leaves to go to police station to talk to Demir.
There Turi and Demir talk about findings from the crime scene. Demir speculates about what might have taken place. Turi request to finish early for the day because he needs to take a shift in the port that night. Demir is surprised by what Turi said and presses him for a reason he needs to go to the port. Turi tells him about suspected human trafficking case. It is the same case Demir had to abandon investigation of some time ago and which got him into a trouble. At that moment Viola arrives and gives Demir information she found.

In the evening Viola receives message from Raniero who organized dinner for them for Saturday. Viola is a bit agitated and walks into Demir’s apartment to talk about the crime. That evening Demir goes secretly to the port. It is night and the place is deserted. There, after carefully looking around, he finds a young woman hiding in one of the containers. She is one of the women who was trafficked in the last cargo. He talks to her, and she agrees to help him with his case in an exchange of him not handing her over to police. The woman’s name is Farah. She tells him that she has escaped the traffickers but that her sister is still in their hands. Farah is frightened but she goes with Demir who hides her in his apartment. In the morning Viola discovers Farah’s presence by accident. Farah notices Viola looking at her from the outside. Demir tells Farah not to worry about Viola and that she is a trusted person.
Later in the morning, Demir and Viola are doing some investigation into the crime scene together which leads into an interrogation of a man who was involved with her in an affair, but the man has alibi. Viola decides to go to tell the victim’s husband about the infidelity of his wife before she writes and article, but before she goes to work, she pops in home where she meets Farah and realises through her tattoo that she is a victim of traffickers Demir is hiding at home. When Viola speaks to the victim’s husband about his wife’s infidelity but is surprised by his reaction and emotions and learns some information from him, she did not previously have.
In the evening Viola is in her bedroom drafting an article when Demir comes in and together they share information they independently found which later leads to a clarity over the crime which took place and arrest if the victim’s husband and another man. Later that day Viola and Demir have short exchange at home on the terrace. Demir tells Viola that he told Santo about Farah and that he has 48 hours to show Farah photos of traffickers to see if she can identify someone and that after that she will be transferred to the asylum centre.
