June 23, on Benevento it was the night of Can Yaman. A human tide welcomed the international actor who spoke with an open heart to the Festival audience, ranging from his philanthropic activity to his professional and entrepreneurial career. Awarded for both sectors, he embraced the thousands of people present, telling about himself and telling about his commitment and professionalism. The BCT Festival thanked him heartily for his presence that honored them and for everything he does with his association Can Yaman For Children.

Una marea umana ha accolto l’attore internazionale che si è raccontato a cuore aperto al pubblico del Festival, spaziando dall’attività sociale al suo percorso professionale e imprenditoriale. Premiato per entrambi i settori ha abbracciato le migliaia di persone presenti raccontandosi e raccontando il suo impegno e la sua professionalità.

CIAK MAG – In addition to being an actor and a model of undoubted charm, Can Yaman is also the founder of a non-profit association to support children and adolescents in the social and health sector. Guest of the seventh edition of the Benevento Cinema and Television Festival, he was awarded for his profuse commitment with the Can Yaman for Children ETS, welcomed by a literally ecstatic crowd.
A square packed with spectators and all around in the streets passionate fans who remained outside in spite of themselves stormed the event that last night saw Can Yaman protagonist on the stage of the Benevento Festival. No press interviews, but the Turkish actor did not escape a bath of ecstatic admirers.
His long dark hair, thick beard and loose black linen shirt did not hide his magnetic charm on the big stage screen, while Yaman told, in almost perfect Italian, the story of his relationship with our country, his successful acting career which began in 2014, where he made himself known in successful series such as God help us and Viola come il mare, and above all his desire to make a difference not only in the professional but also social sphere.
“My dream was to become a citizen of the world,” says Yaman, who says he already studied Italian at high school in Istanbul and only embarked on an acting career after graduating in law. “Istanbul is a peculiar city that unites two continents and different cultures,” he continues as the crowd loudly applauds him continuously.
“At school I mostly learned how to learn,” Yaman explains in speaking of the different activities undertaken in his life. He speaks five languages, but he says, Italian has in his blood. True luck came for him in Italy, a country he has always loved and which, he says, welcomed him with affection, so much so that he was seen as the probable worthy heir of the beloved Kabir Bedi, the unforgettable interpreter of Sandokan in Sergio Sollima’s miniseries of 1976.
I am happy to see my work and efforts recognized. I would like to thank you one by one for making this possible. The Benevento Festival held in the splendid Piazza Roma was a unique opportunity to share my passion with such a warm audience. Can Yaman bursts into the Bct of Benevento, igniting delirium among his fans. On the third day of the Bct in Benevento, Can Yaman bursts in, a Turkish actor and model long awaited by the many fans who crowded Piazza Roma. Relaxed and winking, he drags the many women present in the square in a whirlwind of screams, kisses, psychological excitement and restlessness that give the security in charge of controlling the event a lot to do. When he finally appeared on stage, while a flood of people poured towards the barriers putting security to the test, a roar of shouts of joy and satisfaction resounded in the square and he, thanks to his physical prowess and a smile truly captivating, he greeted everyone with his presence alone and, with aplomb, greeted the journalist Martina Riva, his interviewer, turning an “accomplice” look to the many women who had gathered in the square to see him who launched into screams of enthusiasm. On stage, next to the actor, were Francesco Cirulli, President of the charity “Can Yaman For Children” and Francesco Pisani, head of child neuropsychiatry at the Umberto I Polyclinic in Rome, witnesses of Yaman’s social commitment against youth problems . Topic of clear social importance, but among the public the attention was only for the animator of the social theme, in fact from the square, however, during the professor’s speech, a shrill sound: “beautiful!”, addressed to Yaman. A particular moment was also the one implemented by Yaman at the screening of a first clip of the evening on his work; suddenly and unpredictably, he jumped off the stage towards the audience to, as he later explained, enjoy the video from a better perspective. The gesture unleashed the crowds of fans who, having left their seats, flocked towards him cheering him and “breaking the lines” established by the security who, with great effort, pushed away the crowd of people who, shamelessly, she had also taken the stage. Finally the interview resumes thanks to Riva who recalls the actor’s apprenticeship in Turkey, his early works such as the “Day Dreamer” series with which, Yaman replies, he learned to act for hours on stage, even 150 hours in a row , because this is how you work in your country in the cinema, but you also had acting experience made up of action, but also of feelings. Having studied in an Italian school, Can Yaman speaks excellent Italian, a language in which he expressed himself with ease and, thanks to the knowledge of which, he worked for an Italian television series, shot in Civita Castellana, entitled “Viola come il mare ”. In this regard he declared: “When I acted for the first time in Italian I felt like a pippa, but I am a very ambitious and self-confident person. Challenges don’t scare me.” He declared that he loves Benigni, of which he has seen all the films and the director Ozpetek. He also revealed that a Sandokan series is in the works and should start next March. Finally, you declared that you love Italy and said: “I was here for two hours, it seems to me a beautiful city, very welcoming. But I love Italy, there is much less chaos than Turkey and I recognize myself in the mentality of its people ” He reported how everyone spoke of him as someone who emanated a particular perfume and, for this reason, he decided to produce one which was also on sale for the evening. Riva reminds him that he has produced a biography and he replies that he did it to put an end to the fake news about him and tell his life before he became famous, a normal boy, but with a prodigious ability to learn and memorize, which, he continued , who taught him to be the teachers of the school he attended. He then declares that he loves his work, but that he wants to do it with commitment and in synergy with those who collaborate with him, respecting everyone, but above all in an ever more careful and precise way, according to his way of being and thinking.
At the end of the evening Antonio Frascadore, Artistic Director of the Bct, presented him with two awards from the Bct review.
Emblem of the sex symbol, Can Yaman also reveals himself, with his speech, as a mature and sincere man, tied to the values of life and, above all, close to those in difficulty, an almost perfect young man who becomes attached to the people and projects that carries on, also for this reason a multitude of people, overwhelmingly women, have paid attention to him, interest and true passion, perhaps in the hope of being able to just touch his sculpted muscles.

A huge crowd for Can Yaman, the actor and model among the great protagonists yesterday evening of the third day of the BCT, the Benevento National Film and Television Festival. Two the awards received from the kermesse of the Artistic Director Antonio Frascadore, one for his career and another for his social commitment thanks to the work of Can Yaman for Children, in fact in 2023 the goal of his voluntary association is the Break the Wall, aimed at the social unease of adolescents accentuated during the covid period, the absence of confrontation and integration combined with the consequent development of a technological addiction have generated completely harmful dynamics of alienation and isolation, the first victims being adolescents. Not only a philanthropist, however, in the interview with the journalist Riva, much space is dedicated to the origins of this great media success that also combines beauty with irony and intelligence. He talks about his training in Istanbul and his studies in the Italian high school, which helped him, he says, to be a citizen of the world. For the Turkish actor who speaks 4 languages, Italy has always been a place of his heart, on the stage in Piazza Roma he recalls the summer holidays and the films of Benigni but also those of the maestro and compatriot Özpetek, among his future projects because he is also entrepreneur the promotion of his perfume and his book and then his greatest passion, Cinema and TV. Un bagno di folla per Can Yaman l’attore e modello tra i grandi protagonisti ieri sera della terza giornata del BCT il Festival Nazionale del Cinema e della Televisione di Benevento. Piazza Roma piena zeppa di fan e curiosi per assistere all’intervista dell’artista turco, tantissimi anche quelli che hanno atteso lungo corso Garibaldi con la speranza di poter accedere o comunque seguire la manifestazione da una migliore visuale. Non sono mancati i cori e striscioni anche qualche momento di massima allerta, ma gestita benissimo dalla sicurezza e dallo staff del festival quando Can Yaman ha deciso di scendere dal palco e buttarsi letteralmente tra la gente. La gente mi ama la sicurezza mi odia ha detto scherzando e ribadendo questo legame fortissimo con le sue ammiratrici, lo ha definito un dono per il quale è grato e felice. Due i premi ricevuti dalla kermesse culturale del Direttore Artistico Antonio Frascadore, uno alla carriera ed un altro per l’impegno nel sociale grazie al lavoro della Can Yaman for Children, nel 2023 infatti l’obiettivo della sua associazione di volontariato è il progetto Break the Wall, rivolto ai disagi sociali degli adolescenti accentuati durante il periodo covid, l’assenza di confronto e d’integrazione uniti al conseguente sviluppo di una dipendenza tecnologica hanno generato dinamiche di alienazione e isolamento del tutto nocive, prime vittime gli adolescenti. Non solo filantropo però, nell’intervista con la giornalista Riva, tanto spazio è dedicato alle origini di questo grande successo mediatico che unisce alla bellezza anche l’ironia e l’intelligenza. Racconta la sua formazione ad Istanbul e gli studi nel Liceo Italiano, che lo hanno aiutato dice, ad essere cittadino del mondo. Per l’attore turco che parla 4 lingue, l’Italia è stata sempre un posto del cuore, sul palco di piazza Roma ricorda le vacanze estive ed i film di Benigni ma anche quelli del maestro e connazionale Özpetek, tra i progetti futuri perché è anche imprenditore la promozione del suo profumo e del suo libro e poi la passione più grande, Cinema e Tv. A Marzo 2024 con molta probabilità lo vedremo su Rai 1 con la nuova fiction di Sandokan, che ripoterà in vita il bucaniere nato dalla penna di Salgari cercando di rendersi appetibile anche alle nuove generazioni.
